Stephen T. Moore
Chief Executive Officer, Portfolio Manager & Chief Compliance Officer
Mr. Moore founded Newhaven in 2006 and brings 40 years of experience in the securities industry to the firm. Mr. Moore was a vice president for Burns Fry Ltd., Lancaster Financial Inc. and TD Securities, where he held a number of functional responsibilities including research, sales and trading, and corporate finance. He was a founder and Managing Director of Kensington Capital Partners, a firm specializing in private equity advisory services. He currently serves as a Director of Prodigy Ventures Inc. Mr. Moore has a Bachelor of Economics and an MBA from Queens University.

Ryan Bushell
President & Portfolio Manager
Mr. Bushell joined Newhaven in 2018 from one of Canada’s longest tenured Investment Managers, where he was co-head of the investment team responsible for meeting investment objectives for private and institutional clients with assets exceeding $1 billion. Mr. Bushell has been a regular guest on several BNN Bloomberg programs, including Market Call, since 2011. Mr. Bushell is a regular contributor to the Globe and Mail, Toronto Star, and both Reuters and Bloomberg’s Canadian divisions. Mr. Bushell holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designations. Mr. Bushell has a Bachelor of Management and Organization Studies specializing in Finance from the University of Western Ontario, and is a member of the CFA Society Toronto.

Frances Connelly
Portfolio Manager
Ms. Connelly joined Newhaven in 2021 with 40 years of experience in the investment industry. In the first half of her career, Ms. Connelly managed portfolios for a variety of institutional clients including the pension assets of a large Canadian public company and a multi-billion dollar mutual fund. For the last 20 years she has concentrated on individual clients with a singular focus on helping them achieve their investment goals drawing upon her broad experience managing risk across multiple asset classes. Ms. Connelly holds a BA and an MBA from Queens University. Ms. Connelly is a member, and past director, of the Toronto CFA society and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Rebecca Teltscher
Portfolio Manager
Ms. Teltscher joined Newhaven in 2023 with 15 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Newhaven, Ms. Teltscher was a portfolio manager at a large multinational bank where she focused on multiple asset classes and geographies. During her time there, she undertook several initiatives such as leading the Mentorship Program for Women in Global Asset Management and joining the RIA (Responsible Investing Association) in Canada. Prior to that, Ms. Teltscher was a portfolio manager at one of Canada's longest tenured Investment Managers. Ms. Teltscher has a Bachelor of Commerce, with distinction, from Concordia University. She is a member of the CFA Society Toronto and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

J. Patrick L. Magee
Portfolio Manager
Mr. Magee joined Newhaven in 2021 after more than 20 years of managing investment portfolios for individual clients and acting as portfolio manager for a number of mutual funds focused on dividend paying equities. Prior to his investment industry experience he worked in management consulting, finance and accounting. Mr. Magee holds a Bachelor of Economics from Queens University and an MBA from McMaster University. Mr. Magee is a member of the Toronto CFA society and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

Nancy Sicurella
Operations Manager
Ms. Sicurella joined Newhaven in 2010 and is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the company. Ms. Sicurella began her 20-year career in financial services coordinating operations for a group of start-up companies providing business-to-business e-commerce solutions. She has held various administrative positions at a Toronto-based asset management firm, an oil and gas services income trust as well as a special purpose acquisition company. Ms. Sicurella has an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph.
